The origin of CCACCH

Collaborative Coalition Against Community Challenges (CCACCH) was formed in 2018 to make the voices and efforts of underserved groups of people (girls, women and young people) be heard and considered in grass root, national and international development programs and service delivery.

The work of CCACCH has changed over time, we started as a group of forty (40) members but currently we have 650 registered members of the organization. We started by operating in only one Sub County (Nyamunuka town council) but currently we are working in the entire district (16 sub counties). In our humble beginning we have caused significant impact in the lives of young girls, women, youths, men and the entire society.

Mission:

To contribute to the social-economic empowerment of women, young people and their families through active participation and access to economic opportunities, entrepreneurship skills by breaking a cycle of vulnerability to enable women, young people and the entire community live descent lives.

Goal:

To improve on the quality of women and young people address the root causes of poverty and gender based violence in the households and communities, promoting equality and social economic development of rural communities and improvement of their standards of living through provision of income generating activities and capacity building.

Purpose: To promote and realize the need to promote women and youths rights for sustainable development and use of resources for realization of improved community livelihoods and gender equity.
